Great Bend Fire Department firefighters will conduct their annual MDA Boot Block on Friday, Sept. 2, outside Walmart and both Dillons stores. They will be accepting donations for the Muscular Dystrophy Association from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.
People can drop a donation in a boot or at the fire stations located at 1205 Williams St. and 5851 10th St. All proceeds will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
