HOISINGTON — Wilson State Bank’s April Steinert will share how to protect yourself from fraud at 5 p.m., hosted by the Hoisington Public Library.
Fraud has been an increasing problem locally, Steinert said. This talk will alert attendeees to things to be aware of while conducting finances electronically, via email, texts, and transactions with debit cards. It is geared to a general audience, with a goal of providing tips for protecting yourself, as well as helping others who may become easy targets of scammers.
Light refreshments will be provided, and a question and answer session will follow the presentation.
