A free workshop on origami will be offered at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, 592 NE K-156.
“The Japanese art of origami is simple in theory: fold paper to create new and interesting shapes. The possibilities, however, are endless,” said Jean Aycock at the Center. “We’ll learn the basics of origami while creating a parade of paper plants and animals.” All materials will be provided. Registration is required; call at 877-243-9268.
