The Friends of Cheyenne Bottoms Annual Meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center, 592 NE K-156. Members will be treated to a meal of hamburgers and hot dogs. Van tours through the Refuge Area of Cheyenne Bottoms, which is normally closed to the public, will also be available during that time.
A short business meeting will be held between the scheduled tours. $25 memberships and renewals will be available for purchase the day of the meeting.
The group is looking for new officer candidates to fill the coming open leadership positions of the board. Anyone interested in serving on the board is asked to contact any FOCB board member.
