Giving Tuesday is fast approaching and will be on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Planning for this year’s Giving Tuesday has started at the Golden Belt Community Foundation. Again, this year the foundation is inviting all qualified charitable organizations in Barton, Pawnee, Rush and Stafford counties to participate in the giving campaign and celebration.
For the third year in a row, GBCF will use the online giving platform goldenbeltgives.org. All Giving Tuesday details, such as the registration form, giving form, online giving, total dollars donated and organization profiles, will be hosted in one location. Information on the giving site is live and will continue to be updated as time gets closer to Nov. 29.
Representatives from any new organization that would like to sign up for this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign should go to the giving site at goldenbeltgives.org and fill out a registration form. Email it to mackenzie@goldenbeltcf.org to start the process.
Giving Tuesday is open to any qualified charitable organization in Barton, Pawnee, Rush or Stafford counties.
Funds raised may be granted directly back to the charitable organization or added to the organization’s endowment fund. Matching funds will be awarded proportionally and other incentives to participate will be announced.
Organizations must opt in for Giving Tuesday and complete their registration by Aug. 31 in order to participate. To learn more about this year’s Giving Tuesday, visit the foundation website at www.goldenbeltcf.org and the giving site at goldenbeltgives.org in the coming weeks.
