Board members and staff of the Golden Belt Community Foundation soon will be in Pawnee County for the beginning of a listening tour and series of community meetings across Stafford, Pawnee, Rush, and Barton counties. The Stafford county meetings are scheduled for Friday, April 1, and will be held at the following locations and times:Friday, April 1:Stafford - 10 a.m. - Stafford Community Senior Center, 130 S. Main St.St. John - noon- Courthouse Annex, 210 E. 3rd St.Macksville- 2 p.m. - VIP Senior Citizens Center, 302 N. Main St.The foundation is interested in learning more about current needs and wishes for Stafford County and its communities. Information from the community meetings will guide the foundation Board of Directors in aligning available funding with current needs, connecting donors with important causes, and working to sustain rural communities.“As the Golden Belt Community Foundation celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, we look forward to making an even greater impact in the communities we serve.
