GBHS debate squad places 3rd
At the Lyons Invitational debate tournament on Saturday, two teams placed. In the open division, the team of Ashtin Heath and Aaron Miller placed 7th with a 4-1 w/l and 23 speaker points. In the novice division the team of Emily Beck and Lexi Ratcliff placed 4th with a 4-1 w/l record and 18 speaker points. There were a lot of good debaters and difficult competition at the tournament., Beck said. The team placed 3rd among 22 schools.
