The Great Bend High School guidance counselors will host a freshman parent meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the GBHS auditorium. Counselors will review their responsibilities as counselors and also discuss attendance, grades, communication, office procedures, graduation requirements, qualified admissions/Kansas scholars requirements for getting into college and expectations for freshmen. This meeting will be about 30-45 minutes in length, depending on questions.
