GBHS recognizes student dedication to academic excellence

Great Bend High School would like to acknowledge the exceptional work of its students in the 2020-2021 school year. In response to multiple methods of learning (on-site, remote, and temporary remote due to quarantine), Great Bend High School will not publish an Honor Roll for the 20-21 school year.

“The absence of names in the newspaper shouldn’t diminish the hard work and determination of our students,” said Tim Friess, GBHS principal. “Our students have faced the challenges of the past year by working harder than ever before and exhibiting great determination in their course work and academic growth.”

GBHS will resume honor roll recognition in the 2021-22 school year. The omission of honor roll does not affect a student’s GPA, transcript, or class standings.
