GBHS Speech Team places fourth
The Great Bend High School speech team brought four students to the South Barber Speech tournament at Kiowa. The team brought home eight medals. Placing in Original Oration were Ashtin Heath 1st and Aaron Miller 2nd; in Humorous Solo Acting were Geoffrey Pafford 1st and Aaron Miller 2nd; Informative Speaking were Geoffrey Pafford 4th and Darian Harbaugh 5th. Geoffrey Pafford placed 4th in Impromptu Speaking and Ashtin Heath placed 4th in Serious Solo Acting. The team placed fourth overall in team sweepstakes.
