An agreement with Athco (http://athcollc.com/) for the My Back Yard playground is on the agenda for the next Great Bend Recreation Commission Board meeting. The board will meet at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St.
GBRC Executive Director Diann Henderson presented plans for the $275,000 playground in June. It will be located at the GBRC Activity Center, 2715 18th St.
Also on the agenda Monday: Guest Tim Boxberger, Hunter Safety instructor, will participate in staff reports on programming. There will also be information on flag football, outdoor soccer and volleyball rules; this year’s swim classes; and the fall time line.
