The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Year Round House Plant Care” on Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Great Bend Activity Center located at 2715 18th. Did you know that during the different seasons of the year, your houseplants need varying care even if they are protected from the elements? Just like their outside counterparts, your plants that are inside will grow and thrive with extra care at different times of the year. Join us as we discuss general house plant care and what you can do during the different seasons to help your houseplants look their best. Alicia Boor, Barton County Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent, will be the presenter for this program.
