The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host “Cooking Ahead For The Holidays” at noon Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. This free one-hour program will also be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave.
With the holidays approaching many people are looking for ways to simplify meal preparation for a large celebration.  This educational program given by Donna Krug, FCS agent,  will focus on food that can be made ahead. Recipes and food safety tips will be part of her presentation.
