GBRC will host Stop 'N Learn session titled 'Fire Prevention'

The Great Bend Recreation Commission will be hosting a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled, “Fire Prevention” on Wednesday, October 7th, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Great Bend Activity Center located at 2715 18th St.
This program will also be held Friday, October 9th, at the Sr. Center located at 2005 Kansas Ave., starting at 1:00 p.m.
National Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 4 through the 10.
Staff from the Great Bend Fire Department will be talking about fire prevention during this program. Some of the topics that will be covered are: fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, escape routes and other valuable information. They will also share information about the Great Bend Fire Department staff, equipment, training and other department facts. Great Bend Fire Department Staff will be the presenters for this program.
