Wichita-based Allmetal Recycling recently acquired Heavy Metal Recyclers, which has locations in Great Bend, Pratt and Kingman. Heavy Metal Recyclers provides services such as demolition and roll off service.

“It was the right time, it just felt right to combine,” said Great Bend Manager Brad McDonald. Allmetal Recycling kept the employees that were working at the Great Bend Heavy Metal Recyclers location.

Established in 2009, Allmetal is the product of brothers Marty and Ron. Their sons Clint and Kolby Cornejo are now the current owners and operators.

Allmetal Recycling has seven locations – three in Wichita, Salina, Newton, Harper, and McPherson. They have a

“reputation for safety, integrity, and innovation,” information from the company’s website said.

In 2018 Allmetal Recycling was awarded the Wichita Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award. “Allmetal not only believes in providing quality service to customers, they also believe in giving back to the community by volunteering and donating to local organizations and nonprofits,” the website continues.

Great Bend’s Allmetal is located at 70 SE 16 Rd., Great Bend. The local store can be contacted at 620-617-2667.
