United States Navy veteran, Airman Robert (Rob) Liles was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on Feb. 21, 2026, at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Airman Liles served from 1992 to 1994. The quilt top was made by Dusty Ivey; quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor.
