Staff from Quivira National Wildlife Refuge will present a program entitled “Grasses and Grass-like Plants” from 7 to 8 p.m. on May 23, at the Ida Long Goodman Memorial Library in St. John. This free educational workshop, designed for Middle School age children through adults, is an introduction to this often confusing and difficult to learn group of plants.
