Andres Briseno, age 53, of Great Bend, was arrested Monday on drug charges after he was found to be in possession of narcotics during the course of an arrest on unrelated charges.

According to the Great Bend Police Department, At around 11:20 a.m. Monday, GBPD officers arrested Briseno at 1217 Williams, Great Bend, on a Great Bend Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Once Briseno was arrested, officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on his person. Briseno is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine along with the Great Bend Municipal Court warrant.
