Great Bend Public Library lists February events

The Great Bend Public Library will reopen at the its temporary location on Monday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. The temporary address is 3407 10th Street, next to AT&T.

Library spokesman Jennifer King said the follow events are scheduled for February:
• Adults’ Night Out Craft, 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5. This month’s craft is Confetti Heart Mugs. Registration is required and space is limited. This event is open to anyone 18 and older.
• Teen Day o’ Stuff, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.10. This month’s “stuff” is Cupcake Day. It is open to students in grades 7-12.
• The Writer’s Corner will meet at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. Any adult 18 and older is welcome to join this community of writers.
• The Open Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19. This month’s book club selection is “Reading Lolita in Tehran” by Azar Nafisi. All ages are welcome to join in on the book clubs monthly meetings. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of this month’s book.
