After widespread rains this past weekend, Kansas wheat harvest was at a halt on Monday, but a few farmers were able to get back in the fields late in the day on Tuesday.Area farmers in Barton County also experienced the same rain delays as much of the state did over the weekend, but with dryer and hotter days, harvest once again got underway.“After all the rain we got in the area, harvest got underway on Thursday,” Great Bend Coop general manager Frank Riedl said. “Test weights are down a little and farmers are having to pick and choose what area of their fields they go in. Some parts are still muddy and wet.
