For those with wounded hearts who struggle with doubt and fear, hope will be offered at 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights, beginning May 18 at Healing Hearts Ranch, 115 SE Ave. in Great Bend.
"The horse has an amazing ability to sense, reflect and respond to behaviors of the individual," said Scott Stinemetz, director of the ranch. "The horses are unbiased and can give you an objective picture of what is going on in a profoundly visual way.
"I have seen dramatic changes in people because they see the behavior right there in front of them," said Stinemetz.
"A new wild mustang will be trained during our worship service," said Stinemetz. "The horse training will relate to the experiences of our lives." Participants will see fear, submission, trust, doubt and acceptance, respect and discipline acted out before them as a completely wild mustang finds purpose.
"These are vital parts to our relationship to our savior Jesus Christ," he said. "Come enjoy the outdoors and the cowboy way as you experience the healing power of Jesus Christ through horses."
Pastor John Paul will speak, and the service will be outside if the weather is good or inside in case of rain. Contact us at (620) 617-8184
