The Hoisington Middle School Kansas Association for Youth (KAY) members hosted the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce Coffee on Thursday morning, Jan. 11. KAY members Livvy Brewer, Andromeda Tesch, Gracie Alyward, Jace Riese, KAY sponsor Mrs. Susan Lowry, and Principal Pat Reinhardt welcomed the group to the school. The KAYs asked to host the coffee to show area businessmen and businesswomen how much they appreciate them and the community. After the meeting, Chamber members had a chance to tour the school. Mrs. Karisa Cowan led the tour and showed the group the new science,technology, engineering and math (STEM) lab, the newly erected greenhouse and the renovations to the middle school gym.
