HOISINGTON — The Cardinals’ forensics team placed third recently at South Barber High School, in Kiowa.  

Miquala Purscell placed first in impromptu speaking, qualifying for the State Championship; third in serious solo acting, missing State by one place; and fourth in extemporaneous speaking. 

Karen Lovett placed third in humorous solo acting, missing State by one place. Heavin Hipp placed fourth in serious solo acting.           

Gabriel Hipp placed fifth in humorous solo acting. In improvised duet acting, Gabriel Hipp and Logan Hammeke placed fourth, and Maddy Mitchell and Braydin Piland placed sixth. 

Logan Hammeke placed sixth in poetry. Jaydnn Andereck and Cheyenne Martinz placed fifth in duet acting. 

Lukas Fox, Victoria Luttrell, and Tyler Reif contributed to the team effort.
