Hoisington reschedules tonights events

Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce staff agree, tonight is not a great night for be out and about. So, they are rescheduling the Christmas Lighting celebration to Tuesday, Dec. 8. The city lights will still be turning on tonight, but plan to come up to the Chamber and Santa House on Dec. 8 to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy cocoa and cookies and sign up for Chamber Gift Certificates and the 50/50 Winter raffle.

Here is the schedule:

Dec. 8 Hoisington Chamber’s Annual Main Street Lighting with Santa and Mrs. Claus — 5 p.m. in front of the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce, 123 N. Main. Mrs. Claus will read Christmas stories to children at the Chamber from 5-5:30 p.m., with Santa arriving shortly after 5:30 p.m. Free hay rack rides available; hot cocoa and cookies served at the Chamber office. Kids can register to win Chamber Gift Certificates. Santa will visit with children at the Santa House at Lebert park, with each child receiving a gift from Santa and a chance to take pictures.
