Great Bend High School Band students Allen To, mallets, and Alex Smith, trumpet, were recently selected for the Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association District Honor and which will meet this Saturday in Dodge City. They were selected by recorded auditions and will be part of the 18-county band. After a day of rehearsal, they will present a concert at 3:15 p.m. at the Dodge City High School Auditorium. To and Smith are both sophomores.
