GBHS to honor veterans

Great Bend High School will hold a Veterans Day Assembly at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at the Great Bend High School Gymnasium. Veterans, family members and guests can begin showing up at 8:30 a.m. to be escorted to the gym by students.

Veterans get free admission to historical society Friday

Barton County Historical Society Museum and Village will be open Veterans Day, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All veterans and immediate family will not be charged admission. The museum has prepared a display to honor veterans from all wars.
