Congressman Tim Huelskamp met with Phillip Kuhn of Great Bend today to personally thank him for his efforts this summer in Huelskamp’s Hutchinson District office. Kuhn is nearing the completion of a congressional internship and has been working on various administrative projects, including policy research and assisting on casework for our Veterans.
“The number one complaint we hear from Kansans is about failures at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Phillip has helped us handle the high volume of casework we complete to get our Veterans the care they earned through their service to our country,” said Huelskamp. “Phillip has a tremendous work ethic and a bright future ahead of him. It is hardworking people like Phillip who I know will be our future leaders.”
“Interning for Congressman Huelskamp was a valuable and enlightening experience,” Kuhn said. “The congressman cares deeply about Veterans, and being able to assist his office in getting Veterans the support they need and deserve was a very rewarding component of this internship.”
