Last week, Congressman Tim Huelskamp (KS-01) welcomed many Veterans from Kansas to their Honor Flight, including local Don Chalfant from Great Bend. Mr. Chalfant served in the U.S. Army.
Huelskamp released the following statement: “I was honored to welcome these Korean and World War II Veterans to Washington D.C. to see their memorials as part of a Kansas Honor Flight. These Veterans are the example of sacrifice and duty and it is always a great privilege to meet them, talk about their service, and thank them for their service.”
