The Great Bend Recreation Commission board will act on insurance renewals when it meets at 4 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St. “Participation awards” are also on the agenda as an action item, and there will be information about the upcoming Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Championship Tournament.
According to the KCAC webiste, baseball and softball conference tournaments return to the Great Bend Sports Complex April 29 through May 3. Both tournaments were held there in 2014, marking the first time in conference history that tournaments were held simultaneously at the same location.
