Judge Keeley seeks reelection

 District Judge Mike Keeley has announced he will seek reelection for the position of District Judge, Division 3, of the 20th Judicial District.  The 20th Judicial District includes Barton, Ellsworth, Rice, Russell and Stafford counties.

Keeley was elected to the bench in 1992.  He currently serves as the district’s Chief Judge.  He is a member of the Barton County Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association and American Bar Association.  He is a member of the Kansas District Judges Association.

Keeley has sat as a panel member of the Kansas Court of Appeals and as a panel member of the Kansas Supreme Court.

Keeley is a member of Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend and the Knights of Columbus.  He is a member of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce and the Great Bend Panther Booster Club.

Since residing in Great Bend, he has been actively involved with the community.  He has been involved with many youth groups and their activities.  Keeley and his wife, Jan, have four children, Matt and wife Jana; Christy and husband Mitch Birt; Cindy and husband Erin Beck; and Beth.
