“K is for Kansas” a traveling exhibit from the Kaufman Museum, Newton, uses an alphabet theme to explore the cultural and natural history of Kansas. The exhibit provides a trip through Kansas by connecting the letters of the alphabet with people, places and things in the state. There are numerous hands-on activities for children and adults. The exhibit is sponsored by Lyons Federal Bank and Peoples Bank and Trust. It will be at the Coronado Quivira Museum, 105 West Lyon, until March. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
