Kansas Highway Patrol responds to injury accident

The Kansas Highway patrol responded to a one vehicle injury accident in Stafford County at 9:58 on Sunday.
A 1994 Chevy Passenger car driven by Kayla Claussen, 18 of St. John was four miles south of Radium when she swerved to miss hitting a deer that was in the roadway and entered the north ditch and rolled.
Claussen received a possible injuries and was taken to Pawnee County Hospital. She was wearing her seat belt.

With groundwork going on at the future site of the Innovation Center on Farmer’s Plaza off of 10th St., Great Bend Economic Development Executive Director Sara Arnberger updated Great Bend Chamber members on several of the organization’s projects Thursday during a Chamber Coffee.
