The Central Kansas Catbackers Club awarded five $1,000 scholarships to incoming college freshmen at Kansas State University from Barton, Stafford and Pawnee counties. Award recipients are Macksville’s Jacob Suiter, Great Bend’s Alyssa Keller, Larned’s Macy Haas, Hoisington’s Braxton Donovan and Pawnee Heights’ Katie Amspacker at Great bend’s Stoneridge Country Club.
