Letter Carriers collecting food Saturday

Join the National Association of Letter Carriers and the Great Bend Post Office as they Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 11.

Each year this joint effort collects millions of pounds of food to feed millions of struggling families in all 50 states. It is the single largest food donation made to the Great Bend Food Bank each year. The Hoisington Post Office also participates in this great charity event.

Local donations help dozens of families not only in Great Bend, but in Barton County. Last year around 7,000 pounds of food was collected in Great Bend alone.

Fill a bag with non-perishable items and letter carriers and their families will pick them up on Saturday. Even though the Food Drive ends on Saturday, carriers will continue to pick up bags of food as long as they are out there to be picked up.
