LARNED — The Larned High School welding team recently competed at Dodge City Community College along with 15 other schools with 87 total entries. This is the first time Larned has participated in this welding competition. Each individual student takes a written test, works with an oxy-acetylene torch, and produces a weld using the ark welding process. Larned’s Trevor Bartz placed 24th and John Stedje placed 26th with the Larned team consisting of Bartz, Stedje, Peyton Solko, and Corbin Weers taking 10th place.
