Summer programs at the Great Bend Public Library include story time for young children and a free magic show to kick of the 2012 Summer Reading Club.Summer hours are in effect. The library, located at 1409 Williams St., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The library is closed on Sunday.Young Adult Librarian and Marketing Director Jennifer King said sign-up for story time begins Friday, June 1.
