The Great Bend Public Library is offering free sessions on how to use Pathfinder, GBPL’s online catalog. Library spokseperson Jennifer King said this is the perfect opportunity for the public to get comfortable with the library’s system as they prepare to operate from a smaller site for a few months. The library will offer multiple public sessions and there is no need to register in advance.

Sessions will be held at the library, 1409 Williams St., at the following dates and times:

Thursday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m.

Thursday, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m.

Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 11 a.m.

“Any member of the public who is unable to make one of these sessions may call or stop by the library and schedule time with a member of the library staff who will gladly walk you through the steps,” King said. “For more information please call 792-2409.”
