With the new year, we have some new programs we’re excited to bring to you, along with the return of some familiar ones.
Tech Tuesdays are back each week from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. for adults to bring in any questions concerning digital apps and other technology. You can also schedule a one-on-one appointment for another time by giving us a call at 620-792-2409 during regular business hours.
Crazy 8s Club, an 8-week, after-school program that gets kids excited about math, starts this Thursday, Jan. 16. We have two concurrent groups meeting at 6 p.m., one for children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and one for those in 3rd through 5th grade. Once you register your child on our website, their spot is reserved for the entire course. During the January sessions, look forward to glow-in-the-dark geometry, bouncy dice explosion, and spy training!
The Open Genealogy Group is changing its format. They are having their last regular, monthly meeting Thursday, Jan. 16. Starting in February and continuing through April, the group is sponsoring a monthly Saturday series of genealogy presentations given by experienced genealogists on a variety of topics. As always, anyone interested in learning more about their heritage can set up an hour-long, one-on-one appointment for a more personalized experience.
This Saturday, Jan. 18, join us for Life-size Candyland, where you are the game piece! Face fun challenges to earn treats on your race to Candy Castle! Children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Our 2020 Baby Bounce Classes and Early Literacy Storytimes resume next Tuesday, Jan. 21.
