Lighting the way
Work started on the planned left-hand turning lane at Broadway and Harrison streets Friday as Wheatland Electric crews removed the double-armed light pole at the intersection and moved it to near Broadway and Jackson. A Wheatland employee is shown Friday morning putting the final touches on the pole after it had been relocated. City employees will begin tearing out the island at the Broadway and Harrison this week.
