Sts. Peter and Paul to host feast day celebration
ELLINWOOD — The Sts. Peter and Paul Heritage Association will host a Peter and Paul feast day celebration on June 29 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, north of Ellinwood.
Sunday Mass will begin at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., there will be a catered meal in the church yard. A free will offering will be accepted.

Retirement party for Sharon Sturgis
ELLINWOOD — A retirement party will be held for Sharon Sturgis from 5-7 p.m. on June 19 at the Ellinwood School/Community Library. She retiring after 20 years of service.

Chamber to host barbecue and beer garden
HOISINGTON — The Hoisington Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Community Barbecue and Beer Garden at 5 p.m. on Aug. 29, at the Hoisington Activity Center, 1200 Susank Rd. under the water tower. Enjoy refreshments and your choice of a hamburger or polish sausage with all of the trimmings. The barbecue is $5 per plate, with proceeds benefiting Labor Day Activities.

Red Cross Blood Drive to be held
ELLINWOOD — A Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 2-7 p.m. on June 23 at St. Joseph Parish Center.

Ellinwood Booster Club meeting to be held
ELLINWOOD — The Ellinwood Booster Club will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. June 16 at the Ellinwood Community Library. The primary topic of discussion will be the future of the Booster Club.
