The Touched by Cancer Support Group has announced its updated September meeting schedule.
In addition to the regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Cancer Center, 204 Cleveland, Great Bend, the group will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, for its annual balloon launch.
Members will also meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center, 3515 Broadway Ave., to attend the program, “Managing the Stress and Changes That Come with Illness.” This interactive television program was originally scheduled for Sept. 19.
Touched by Cancer Group meetings and activities are open to everyone currently fighting the disease,  cancer survivors or families and friends of those involved in all phases of the fight.
