Chamber Coffee set

LARNED — The weekly Larned Chamber of Commerce coffee hour is scheduled at State Farm Insurance at Glory Be, 7th and Broadway, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday. The Larned High group Beginnings will perform. Join them as they honor Ray and Joan Reep for their life-long commitment to our community.

Sleep clinic Thursday

LARNED — Pawnee Valley’s sleep and diagnostic center will sponsor its monthly sleep apnea awareness clinic at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital conference room.
The public is welcome to the clinic, which will feature a special Christmas Party and door prizes for sleep apnea patients.

Veterans representative
to see people Thursday

LARNED — Vincent S. Dorsey, Veterans service representative of the Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs, Fort Dodge, will visit Larned Thursday at the Veterans of Foreign War building from 10 a.m. to noon; and at the Larned State Hospital in the reimbursement office from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. He will assist veterans and their dependents or survivors with veterans benefits.

Toy drive winds down

LARNED — Scraps, in conjunction with local bikers will collect toys for Pawnee County children. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy to Scraps, 612 Broadway, until Saturday. The toys will be distributed the week before Christmas. Cards can be filled out for children.
