Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had one ambulance run Monday and five on Tuesday.

Firefighters responded to a gas leak on Tuesday at 10:54 a.m. at the 1600 block of Holland Street and stood by for Kansas Gas after crews digging in the area struck a line. At 11:18 a.m. on Tuesday firefighters responded to a gas leak at the 2500 block of Cheyenne Drive to stand by for Kansas Gas after Nex-Tech crews struck a line while digging.



Great Bend Police

A baggie of marijuana was found at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St. reported as a narcotics violation at 9:11 a.m. Monday. It was collected and booked into evidence.

A lost wallet was reported at 10:56 a.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.

A report of fraud involving the use of a debit card online to transfer money out of an account was received at 11:07 a.m. at 2013 Baker Ave.

A cat bite was reported at 12:30 p.m. at 8823 Fourth St.

A theft of paperwork over two years ago was reported at 3:39 p.m. at 205 Frey St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:32 p.m. at the 3100 block of Dike Road.

A sex offense was reported at 7:21 p.m.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:42 p.m. at Hibbett Sports, 3709 10th St.

A domestic incident was reported at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday at Rand Trailer Court, 5540 Second St.

Officers responded to the Great Bend Hotel at 3017 10th St. on Tuesday in reference to criminal damage.

Officers responded to 1431 22nd St. on in reference to a verbal domestic dispute.

An individual asked an officer if he could dig up a tree at Veterans Park.

Officer Emma Mooney responded to the Great Bend Public Library at 1409 Williams St. in reference to reports of a subject in a vehicle wearing a mask.

A burglary was reported at 1213 Hubbard St. after someone broke into a residence and vehicle.


Barton County Sheriff

A domestic incident was reported at 12:11 p.m. Monday at 513 E. Fifth St., Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3 p.m. at 281 Auto Salvage, 561 N. U.S. 281.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:32 p.m. at 3100 block of Dike Road.

A disturbance was reported at 10:23 p.m. at 41 Kiowa Road.

At midnight on Tuesday a narcotics violation was reported at E 7th Street and North Main Street in Hoisington.

At burglary not in progress was reported at 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at 257 NW 50 Road in Hoisington.

Shots fired were reported at 4:59 p.m. at 632 E. Lakeview Dr. in Great Bend.
