Budget to be presented

LARNED — The Pawnee County commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. Monday to discuss several topics.
The agenda includes:
9:15 a.m. — Leon Sanders, Camp Pawnee caretaker.
10 a.m. — Pawnee County Extension Council 2013 budget proposal.
10:30 a.m. — Kurt Demel, Pawnee County highway administrator, updates.
11:45 a.m. — Rod Wheaton, SW supervisor, contracts.
Sunflower Red Hats meet

LARNED — Marylee Phinney and Alice Clapsaddle hosted 20 women of the club for a birthday party for each other on May 10 at Sweets & Treats.  
Following a dessert course featuring raspberry cake, members brought gifts that were worth $3 and were expendable in nature. Gifts were exchanged. Lynn Suiter and Lorene Froetschner distributed rosters and hostess assignments for the next year. The next meeting will convene in September.
