Larned citizens to visit Monday’s council meeting
LARNED — A local citizen’s group is planning to lodge concerns about high taxes and city of Larned spending, according to a member. The Larned city council meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday at city hall.
Tayleen VanNorden said the local group will inquire about utility rates, property tax rates and city spending. She said the group will plans to attend future meetings of the Pawnee County Commission and the Fort Larned USD 495 school board.
Agenda items include 2012 Budget Amendment Public Hearing, Airport; KMEA; American Red Cross; Kansas Pride Resolution; Pawnee County COOP Easement Request; Dr. Mark VanNorden; Klink K-156 Resurfacing Project; Alcohol Ordinance; Cereal Malt Beverage Licenses.
