Lab days scheduled

LARNED — Appointments are being accepted for the monthly Pawnee County Health Department’s lab days scheduled Friday. The clinic starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 10 a.m. at the 1st floor of the Pawnee County Courthouse, 715 Broadway. Patients need to fast for 12 hours before the appointment.

Profile which includes Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, TSH and Hemagram, $30. Individual tests include CMP, $15; Lipid Panel, $10; TSH, $8, Hemagram, $10; Free T4, $8; Prostate specific antigen, $15; and HgbA1C, $8.
You need to fast 12 hours the evening before. The health department offers the service in conjunction with Pawnee Valley Community Hospital. The lab days are scheduled the fourth Friday of each month.
Pawnee County Health Department offers this service in cooperation with Pawnee Valley Community Hospital. The lab day is private pay and no health insurance is billed.

Scrimmage scheduled

LARNED —  The annual Black/Orange football scrimmage featuring players from the combined Larned High School/Pawnee Heights football team is scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 at Earl Roberts Field Stadium.
Admission is a donation of a case of water or Gatorade. Every level of football will be showcased, beginning with the third-fourth grade team at 5 p.m. followed by Larned Middle School and Larned High School.
