Santa Fe Trail
group to meet

LARNED — The Wet/Dry Routes Chapter of the Santa Fe Trail Association will have their summer meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Fort Larned National Historic Site.  
David Clapsaddle will speak on “Mail Stations” with specific data concerning the mail station at Fort Larned.  
Following the refreshment break, a short business meeting will be conducted.  The public is invited. For information call 285-3295 .   

Camp Pawnee
sets fun night

LARNED — Larned Pride and the Pawnee County commissioners has invited the public to a Camp Pawnee Educational Fun Night at 6 p.m. Friday at Camp Pawnee, west of Larned.  
Larned Pride will sponsor several educational programs.
Don Kazmaier will portray “Hummingbirds.”
Ron and Martha Scranton will conduct a Nature Walk with the assistance of Pam Martin, from the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. Martin will speak about “Maintaining Water Quality in the River.”
