Rozel benefit Sunday

ROZEL — Rozel Pride is sponsoring a benefit dinner for Darcey VanMeter from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Pawnee Heights gymnasium. The menu features roast beef, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert. A silent and live action is also scheduled.

LHS orientation Monday

LARNED — Larned High School will sponsor an orientation meeting at 6 p.m. Monday for incoming freshman and new students.
Extracurricular activities, organizations and coaches will be available to answer questions. For informastion, call 620-285-2151.

Driver’s ed meeting set

LARNED — A summer driver education meeting is scheduled at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Larned High cafeteria. Students will meet the instructors, sign up for classes and pay the $175 in district or $300 out-of-district class fee. Students must be 14 by June 1.  

Burdett sets taco night

BURDETT — The Burdett UMC will sponsor a taco night at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Educational Building. Tacos, nachos, desserts and beverages will be served for a freewill donation. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy good food and fellowship. This will be the last taco night until August.
