LARNED — The Pawnee Valley Community Hospital Auxiliary will sponsor the Fourth Annual Holiday Fair Saturday, Dec. 3.
The gift booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Larned Community Center. The all-day event will coincide with special activities downtown, which will feature sales and the annual Christmas Parade.
The gift booths will be varied and aim to bring people to town that day from all parts of western Kansas. The Methodist church will sponsor a Christmas cookie and candy booth where customers can skip the baking and buy the treats there.
There will be a bulk candy booth, Tupperware, Miche purses, crafted jewelry, carvings, and many Christmas items and gifts.
In addition, the booths will be selling floral items, oil and acrylic paintings done by Alvin Hutfles, purses, children’s clothing, toys books, Tommy tools, and many more too numerous to mention.
The Auxiliary is also selling coupons for several quilts that will be announced at 4 p.m. Dec. 3. The tickets are a $1 donation for each or six for $5. The first drawing will be for a handmade queen-size quilt. The second will be for a handmade, full size quilt. The third drawing will be for a beautiful Nativity Set. The fourth prize will be for a collapsible casserole carrier.
Proceeds benefit the PVCH Auxiliary projects which in turn benefit the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital.
Lunch will be served by the PVCH Auxiliary at the Holiday Fair.
