HOISINGTON — The Cardinals Forensics team started their season this past weekend by going to Pratt High School’s Invitational Tournament. Overall, Hoisington’s Forensics Team took 6th place in the Sweepstakes out of 25 teams. 

Students with outstanding performances that broke into the final round were Jessica Lovett and Vada Kaiser. These girls’ Improvised Duet Acting performances won them 2nd place and a ticket to the State Championship tournament in May. In her Prose performance, Vada Kaiser took 6th place out of 36 performances. In her Original Oration, Jessica Lovett took 4th place.
